Ross Frisby

Ross Frisby is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Chester Business School at the University of Chester. He has over 25 years of experience in higher education leadership and performance management, serving as Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Sport Business Management and teaching across Business, Sport, and Events modules.

Ross’s research focuses on education leadership and performance management in academic and administrative contexts, informed by his extensive senior management roles in higher education institutions.

His professional recognitions include being a Certified Management and Business Educator and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

He currently holds the position of Deputy Head of Business at the University of Chester and has previously served as Academic Lead for Business, Sport and Events (2021–2024), Head of Business Group (2018–2021), and in leadership roles at Lincoln College (2001–2015).
