Professor Rose Galvin is an Irish-registered physiotherapy academic at the University of Limerick, affiliated with the School of Allied Health and the Ageing Research Centre. She co-directs the Ageing Research Centre and contributes to the Limerick Digital Cancer Research Centre.

Her research focuses on applied health research in ageing, particularly the identification and management of frailty in older adults across care settings. She explores interventions for post-discharge care, integrated models for geriatric populations, and methodologies for patient involvement in stroke research.
Recent publications emphasize emergency department transitions, frailty cohort studies, and public patient involvement frameworks. Her work aligns with SDGs related to health and well-being.
