Ronit Ghosh

Ronit Ghosh is a Research Fellow at the University of Chicago, associated with the South Asian Language Council (SALC) and the Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations. His work focuses on media-ecologies, technological influences on musical thought in 20th-century Bengal, and the intersection of sound studies with Indian film and popular music. He holds an M.A. from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and an Erasmus Mundus M.A. in media-arts and aesthetics across Europe.
