Kuhu Tanvir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Michigan State University's College of Arts & Letters. Her research focuses on the non-theatrical circulation of popular Hindi cinema, media afterlives, transmediation, and digital viewing practices in the Global South. She teaches courses on Bollywood/Indian cinema, new media, and cellphone culture.
