Ronan McCrea is a Professor of Constitutional and European Law at University College London's Faculty of Laws. He previously held positions including Lecturer at the University of Reading (2009–2011), Visiting Professor at Central European University (2010–2018), and Référendaire at the European Court of Justice (2008–2009). He is an Associate Academic Fellow of the Inner Temple and has extensive legal practice experience, including work with Matrix Chambers, the Refugee Legal Centre, and the Brennan Center for Justice. His research focuses on public law, European law, and law in socio-political contexts.
