Ronalds Busulwa is a Lecturer in Mental Health within the Department of Nursing & Midwifery at Teesside University. He serves as Module Lead for Year 2 Skills (Mental Health) in pre-registration nursing programs. Prior to academia, he worked as a Mental Health Advisor for university students and held clinical roles at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM).

Research Interests: Focuses on student mental health and wellbeing, particularly the role of faith in Black university students' mental health. Explores innovative technologies and pedagogical approaches in education. Maintains a blog offering mental health support through psychoeducation and self-help resources.
Professional Roles: External Examiner (2024–2028) and contributor to nursing curriculum development and assessment methods. Engages in quality assurance initiatives.
Labs/Teams: Involved in interdisciplinary teams advancing healthcare education and mental health advocacy through academic and clinical collaborations.
