Hannah Walsh is a Research Fellow at King's College London's Department of Addictions Sciences, affiliated with the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care and the Nicotine Research Group. She holds an ESRC post-doctoral fellowship, focusing on interventions for substance misuse in Further Education settings. Her research emphasizes tobacco and cannabis co-use, mental health, and vulnerable populations.
Education: PhD (Nightingale studentship), MRes, MSc, and RMN qualifications. Prior roles include work at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust's Cannabis Clinic.
Research interests: Tobacco cessation in mental health/substance misuse settings, co-use interventions, and policy development. Recent studies include mixed methods analysis of co-use among young adults and NHS clinic data on comorbid cannabis use/psychosis.
Grants: ESRC fellowship and Cancer Research UK-funded projects. Collaborations include the Nicotine Research Group and international teams.
