Ronald M. Cervero

Ronald M. Cervero serves as Professor and Deputy Director in the Center for Health Professions Education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), with primary appointment in the School of Medicine, Department of Medicine. He joined USUHS in 2016 after executive leadership roles at the University of Georgia, where he founded the Institute for Evidence-Based Health Professions Education and co-led Georgia’s Public Health Training Center.

His research centers on health professions education, specializing in continuing professional development and continuing medical education. Dr. Cervero has shaped national discourse through leadership in the National Academy of Medicine’s Global Forum on Innovation in Health Professions Education and editorial roles for the Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
