Edmund G. Howe

Edmund G. Howe, MD, JD, serves as Professor of Psychiatry and Professor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), with primary appointment in the School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry. He also holds a Senior Scientist position at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress and is based at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Yale University, MD from Columbia University, and law degree from Catholic University. He completed psychiatric residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center after an internship at Harlem Hospital.
