Jill Emerick

Jill Emerick is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and a Captain in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. She currently serves as the Reproduction and Endocrinology Module Director for USUHS's School of Medicine and leads the Healthy Habits Multidisciplinary Obesity Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Her clinical and academic work spans pediatric endocrinology, obesity research, and medical education.

Emerick's research focuses on childhood and adolescent obesity, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary clinical interventions and their application in military and global health contexts. Her work includes analyzing the link between early childhood antibiotic use and obesity, developing obesity clinic models, and improving diabetes care protocols. She also contributes to medical education through curriculum design and leadership in USUHS's preclerkship module.
