Marcia Frye

Marcia Frye is a Medical Educator at the Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She serves as a Pediatric Pulmonologist at Navy Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, and is a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Her work bridges clinical practice, education, and military service.

She has contributed to military medical education by developing the first USUHS second-year medical student general pediatrics clinical clerkship at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune and standardizing curricula across military medical centers.

Commander Frye has received four personal awards: two Navy Achievement Medals and two Navy Commendation Medals. She implemented an asthma pathway at multiple military medical facilities and led the transformation of General Pediatrics at NHCL into a NCQA-certified level II Medical Home.
