Ronald Keeble is a Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University's School of Urban and Regional Planning, where he has served since 1979. He has held leadership roles, including twice serving as Director of the School. He is a registered professional planner (RPP) and holds memberships in organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Planners, American Institute of Certified Planners, and Ontario Association of Architects. His research focuses on professional regulation, best practices in planning, and integrating internationally trained professionals into Canadian practice. Keeble advises on mixed-use and residential infill development projects and actively engages in community planning in the Greater Toronto Area. He was honored by the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) with a scholarship named after him.

His professional contributions include co-chairing the committee that established national planning standards, directing the Planning for the Future Project, and serving as Registrar of Ontario’s planning profession.
