Teaching and Mentorship: Dave emphasizes linking planning theory to practice in his teaching. He actively involves graduate students in research roles, including data analysis (e.g., NVivo, SPSS) and knowledge mobilization through publications and reports. His preferred research areas for student collaboration include evaluation methodologies, climate change planning, and municipal policy.
