Romuald Méango is an Associate Professor of Economics and Tutor Fellow at Christ Church, University of Oxford. Previously, he held post-doctoral positions at the Ifo Institute and the Max-Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich, where he led the Migration Unit for two years. He earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Montréal and an MSc in Statistics and Economics from ENSEA.

His research explores skilled labor migration, the interplay between subjective expectations and human capital investment, and counterfactual outcome identification. He contributes to research groups in Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics, and the Centre for Research on Structural Transformation and Growth (CROSTAG).
Romuald serves as a tutor for the University of Oxford's Summer School courses, focusing on labor economics and structural transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
