Romain Fathi is a Senior Lecturer in History at The Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra and an affiliated researcher at the Centre d’Histoire de Sciences Po, Paris. He holds a PhD (2015) jointly awarded by Sciences Po and The University of Queensland, with honors. His research focuses on transnational dimensions of war, particularly the First World War, Australian identity, war commemorations, and public health history, with a special emphasis on the Red Cross movement and body disposal practices in conflict zones.
