Rockne Starks

J. Rockne Starks is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Finance at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), within the Schmidthorst College of Business. He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from BGSU (1988), an MBA from BGSU (2019), and professional certifications including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

Roc’s research interests focus on risk management, corporate insurance strategies, and financial services. He advises on insurance policy development and banking operations, leveraging his experience in a $137B financial institution with nationwide operations.
