Ryan Holley

Ryan Holley is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Marketing at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), part of the Schmidthorst College of Business. He joined the faculty in 2018 after six years as an adjunct instructor. Holley is a BGSU alumnus, earning his BS in Business Administration (2005) and MBA (2007). He teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, Business Communication, Applied Business Experience, and Business Ethics, and advises student organizations like the College of Business Student Ambassadors and Peer Leaders. He serves as Faculty Advisor for Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity.

Holley focuses on student motivation and success, holding certifications from BGSU’s Center for Faculty Excellence. His expertise spans small business management, multifamily housing, and community engagement, informed by his roles as Deputy Registrar of the Bowling Green License Bureau, small business owner, and former Operations Manager of a property management company. He actively contributes to local governance, serving on the Bowling Green Planning Commission (3 years as Chairman), Ohio Apartment Association Board, and Bowling Green Kiwanis Club.

His educational background includes a BS in Business Administration (cum laude, University Honors) and an MBA from BGSU, with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Holley emphasizes real-world application in teaching, leveraging his industry experience in human resources, property management, and community leadership.
