Rocco Malservisi

Dr. Rocco Malservisi is Associate Professor and Graduate Director of Geology, specializing in lithospheric dynamics and geodetic analysis. His research uses GPS, InSAR, and numerical modeling to study earthquake cycles, volcanic deformation, and tectonic processes across global sites including Costa Rica and Alaska.

Current projects employ UAV-based lidar and photogrammetry for high-resolution monitoring of permafrost and coastal changes. Dr. Malservisi teaches field methods and geophysics courses, advising graduate students in tectonic geodesy and geodynamic modeling.
