Professor Robin Shattock is the Head of Mucosal Infection and Immunity within the Department of Medicine at Imperial College London. He leads a team of 26 staff including researchers, PhD students, and project managers. His research focuses on mucosal infection mechanisms and novel vaccine strategies for global health challenges, particularly HIV. He has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles and secured funding from major organizations including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, and EU Framework Programmes.
