Dr. Robin Rose Breetveld is a Lecturer in Sociology & Social Work and Deputy-Director of Studies in Health & Social Care at the University of Kent's School of Social Sciences. They joined Kent as a full-time lecturer in 2021 and hold an Associate Fellowship of Higher Education (Advance HE). Their research focuses on marginalised groups, particularly plurisexual individuals, exploring themes like socio-spatial belonging, intersectional feminism, and epistemic justice through creative methods such as graphic storytelling.

- BA in Social Work & Social Services (The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands) with a specialisation in Mental Health
Research Interests: Dr. Breetveld investigates queer theory, sexual geographies, embodiment, and neurodiversity. They advocate for intersectional feminist methodologies and accessible research dissemination through artistic outputs. Their work engages with inner-community marginalization, spatial negotiations in LGBT+ spaces, and the role of affect in identity formation.
