Dr. Robin N. Poston is an Honorary Reader in the Centre for Microvascular Research at Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. He holds dual affiliations with the William Harvey Research Institute and the Blizard Institute. A renowned academic pathologist, Poston graduated from Cambridge University and trained at the Middlesex Hospital, later working at Guy’s Hospital (King’s College London). His research focuses on atherosclerosis mechanisms, particularly leukocyte-endothelium interactions and LDL oxidation pathways. Current projects include developing CD36 inhibitors for metabolic syndrome treatment through his biotech venture Arteria (France).
