Robin Blyn is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of West Florida, affiliated with the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research bridges 20th-century American literature, contemporary American literature, and critical theory.

Blyn’s scholarship explores intersections of mass culture, revolutionary art, and theoretical frameworks, including her groundbreaking book Freak-garde: Extraordinary Bodies and Revolutionary Art in America. She investigates neoliberalism, network aesthetics, and the anarchist imagination in contemporary contexts.
Her teaching and mentorship extend beyond the classroom through roles as founder and faculty director of the UWF Book Club, advisor to the literary journal Troubadour, advisor to the English club Much Ado, and sponsor of the UWF Amnesty International chapter. She has received three Distinguished Teaching Awards (2001, 2004, 2011).
