Robin Bennett is a Lecturer in Law at Leeds Law School, Leeds Beckett University. His research focuses on counter-terrorism law and policy, particularly addressing the legal, political, and social dimensions of counter-terrorism measures in educational settings and the balance between security and civil liberties. He holds an LLB from the University of Bradford and previously worked as a barristers’ clerk. Since joining Leeds Law School in 2017, he has contributed to teaching modules such as Crime, Morality and Law, Public Law, and Criminal Evidence, while supervising undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
