Roberto Sabatini is a Professor and Chair of the Aerospace Engineering Department at Khalifa University, where he founded the Aerospace Systems Research Group (ASRG) and Guidance, Navigation and Control Laboratory (GNCLab). He leads the FALCON Program developing sustainable aviation and Advanced Air Mobility research. With over three decades of aerospace experience across international institutions, his work focuses on integrating advanced technologies in aviation and space systems.

Research interests center on aerospace robotics, autonomous systems, and multi-domain traffic management with emphasis on safety-critical avionics and sustainable aviation technologies.
