Dr. Mir Feroskhan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Deputy Director of the Air Traffic Management Research Institute. He leads the Intelligent Cybernetics Group (ICG) and directs autonomous flight control research at NTU's eVTOL Research & Innovation Center.
Research focuses on AI-enabled drone applications, including autonomous navigation, swarm intelligence, and space situational awareness. Notable projects include A*STAR-funded investigations into UAV vision systems and dynamic tooling for microservices extraction in aviation software.
Honors include:
- A*STAR Young Individual Research Grant Award
- MoE Tier 2 Research Grant
Professional leadership includes Associate Editor roles for IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and Scientific Reports.
