Robert Olen Butler is the Krafft Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at Florida State University's Department of English (College of Arts and Sciences). He holds an MA from the University of Iowa (1969) and specializes in fiction, screenwriting, and narrative prose. His accolades include the Pulitzer Prize (1993) for A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain, the F. Scott Fitzgerald Award (2013), and Guggenheim and NEA fellowships.
