Robert Keller is a Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Applied Analytics Program at Loras College. He has been teaching there since earning his PhD in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1999. His career includes part-time K-12 teaching (5th-6th grades) via Dubuque's Talented and Gifted program (2000-2004) and extensive work in STEM/mathematics teacher professional development. He currently co-directs a Title IIA-funded project building capacity for integrated middle-school science/mathematics education involving 50+ teachers across six districts.

His research focuses on mathematics education innovation, including:
- NSF-funded development of mathematics courses for K-8 teachers
- Reflective practices integration in elementary math teacher training
