Robert Hamilton is a Senior Lecturer in Art and Visual Culture at Spelman College, where he has served on the faculty since 2016. With 25 years of experience as an arts lab manager at Spelman, he integrates technology into the arts and participates in cross-disciplinary collaborations across departments including Environmental Studies, Anthropology, Psychology, and the Teaching Research and Resource Center (TRRC).

Hamilton actively contributed to the establishment of Spelman's Food Studies Minor and Innovation Lab. His research interests focus on Arts Technology, Food Studies, Pomology, and Environmental Science. He emphasizes student-centered learning, leveraging diverse student interests to make courses more meaningful and fostering curiosity through interdisciplinary dialogue.
