Dr. Kimberly Jackson is Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Professor of Biochemistry, and Director of the Food Studies program at Spelman College. She is also founder and co-director of the LINCS Scholars Program, which supports women of color in STEM. A Fulbright Scholar and 2020-22 Alumni Ambassador, her research focuses on plant-based therapies for prostate cancer and advancing equity in STEM. She holds a Ph.D. from Clark Atlanta University and a B.S. from Alabama State University. Her leadership roles include advisory positions at COACh for Women Scientists and the American Chemical Society's Project SEED committee.
