Robert Carroll

Robert Carroll is Professor of Practice in Venture Capital and Private Equity at the University of Nottingham Business School's Haydn Green Institute. He holds a BPharm from King's College London and an MBA from Bradford University Management School. With over two decades in investment, he serves as Director of Catapult Ventures and chairs its Investment Committees.

His expertise covers venture capital structuring, private equity deal flow analysis, and SME growth strategies. He incorporates practical frameworks from his investments in companies like Replay Group and Open Go Sim.

As a mentor for the Royal Academy of Engineering's Leaders in Innovation Fellowship and Santander X Global Awards, he develops entrepreneurial competencies in technical founders. His teaching integrates neuro-linguistic programming techniques for negotiation training.
