Robert A. Harrington, M.D., serves as the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine and Provost for Medical Affairs at Cornell University. A renowned cardiologist and clinical researcher, he previously held leadership roles as Chair of the Department of Medicine at Stanford University and Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute. His research focuses on antithrombotic therapies for acute ischemic heart disease, clinical trial methodologies, and the application of technology in clinical research. Dr. Harrington is an elected member of prestigious organizations including the National Academy of Medicine and the American Heart Association (AHA), where he also served as president.
