Rob C. Wegman is an Associate Professor of Music at Princeton University, specializing in the musical aesthetics and sociology of Late Medieval and Renaissance music. His courses include Music and Shakespeare, Music in the Middle Ages, and advanced seminars on musicology, textual criticism, and sacred music history.
His research focuses on medieval and renaissance musical traditions, including improvisation, counterpoint, and manuscript culture. He has published extensively on composers like Jacob Obrecht, Alexander Agricola, and Johannes Tinctoris, exploring their contexts and works.
