Patrice Nicolas serves as Professor in the Music Department of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Moncton's Moncton campus. His primary academic appointment focuses on advanced music theory and historical practices within the university's comprehensive arts curriculum.
Professor Nicolas's research centers on historical musicology with specialized expertise in medieval counterpoint, composition techniques, and improvisational practices.
