Ritesh Soni

Ritesh Soni is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Technology, University of Tartu, Estonia. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea (2023), and has prior research experience at institutions such as Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Raman Research Institute (RRI). His research focuses on soft robotics, microfabrication, nanotechnology, and AI-driven material innovations. Notable projects include scalable superhydrophobic coatings and biowaste-derived materials for energy storage and biomedical applications.

Education includes a B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree in Nanotechnology from the University of Rajasthan, India (2016). He has contributed to over 15 peer-reviewed articles, with a focus on surface engineering, nanomaterials, and sustainable technologies. Current projects include 'Soft Robotic Scope for Minimally Invasive Surgery Procedures' funded by the Estonian Research Council (€144k).

His work integrates material science with environmental and biomedical challenges, emphasizing practical applications of nanotechnology. Collaborations include visits to IEMN (France) and UNIST (South Korea).
