Professor Rick Grobbee is a distinguished academic at Utrecht University, holding the position of Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and University Professor of Global Health. He serves as Chair of the Heart and Vascular Center at UMC Utrecht and has founded several significant research institutions including the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, which now comprises approximately 500 staff members and is recognized as a leading international center in clinical epidemiology.
