Richard Shipway is an Associate Professor in Sport Event Management at Bournemouth University, specializing in sport tourism, Olympic studies, crisis management, and entrepreneurial innovation. He is a Winston Churchill Fellow and serves on the ESRC’s Peer Review College since 2010. His research focuses on sport events' impacts, disaster resilience, volunteering legacies, and play-based methodologies like Lego® Serious Play® (LSP).
