Richard Radcliffe is a Professor at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, specializing in the genetic and molecular aspects of substance abuse disorders.
Dr. Radcliffe's research focuses on understanding the genetic and molecular basis of drug and alcohol abuse. His work includes gene expression microarray analyses of central nervous system systems involved in behavioral responses to methamphetamine and alcohol, as well as QTL mapping of alcohol-related traits. His research contributes to the broader field of behavioral genetics and addiction science, aiming to identify genetic factors that influence susceptibility to substance use disorders.
As a faculty member at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Dr. Radcliffe maintains an active research program within the Institute for Behavioral Genetics, contributing to the university's mission of advancing knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences and behavioral genetics.
