Professor Richard Langham Smith is a distinguished academic at the Royal College of Music (RCM), holding the title of Professor in Academic Programmes and serving as a Doctoral Supervisor. He specializes in French music, with a focus on 19th- and early 20th-century composers such as Bizet, Debussy, and Poulenc.
