Richard Jefferies

Richard Jefferies is a Lecturer in Management and New Technology at the University of the West of Scotland with expertise in organizational change and leadership. He chairs the Organisational Transformation, Change and Development Special Interest Group at the British Academy of Management, connecting research with industry practice.

His research examines:

• Change management in complex organizations
• Organizational development and culture
• Leadership during transformational periods
• Technology adoption in workplaces

Prior to academia, Jefferies accumulated 20+ years in hospitality and retail sectors, implementing organizational change initiatives in SMEs. As a Chartered Manager (CMI) and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Associate, he bridges academic and professional practices.
