Richard Freeman is Professor of Social Science and Public Policy at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Social and Political Science. With a focus on the intersection of knowledge and practice in governance, his work spans policy analysis, political sociology, and science and technology studies. He has held visiting positions at institutions including the European University Institute, Yale University, and Sciences Po Paris.
