Niilo Kauppi is a Research Director at the Centre for Consumer Society Research within the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Social Sciences, and holds a concurrent role as Research Professor at CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) (on leave). He specializes in political sociology with a focus on knowledge governance, European politics, and transnational social fields.
