Dr. Richard Doubleday is a Professor in the Division of Communication & Creative Media at Champlain College, joining in fall 2024. He previously served as Professor Emeritus at Louisiana State University (LSU) and Assistant Professor of Art at Boston University College of Fine Arts.
- Doctor of Design (D.Des) in Cultural Preservation from LSU
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Boston University
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Massachusetts College of Art & Design
His research focuses on graphic design history and theory, especially in the post-Mao era and Sinophone communities. He has led international study programs in China, London, and The Netherlands, and his poster designs have been exhibited globally.
