Richard Cuthbertson is the Deputy Dean of MBA and Executive Degrees, Senior Research Fellow at Saïd Business School, and Director of the Oxford Institute of Retail Management at the University of Oxford. He holds a PhD from the University of Southampton and an undergraduate degree from Lancaster University Management School. His research focuses on customer-technology interactions and their societal and economic impacts, with over 100 publications. He advises global firms like Sainsbury's, Intel, and BP, and contributes to policy through roles in bodies such as the European Commission review groups and the Charity Retail Association. Richard teaches supply chain dynamics, service innovation, and strategic retailing across MBA, Executive MBA, and online executive education programs.
