Dr. Richard Clements is an Assistant Professor of International Law at Tilburg University's Tilburg Law School, specializing in international criminal law, global health law, and critical legal theory. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, an LLM cum laude from Leiden University, and an LLB (Honours) from Queen's University Belfast. His research explores managerial practices in international legal institutions, particularly the International Criminal Court (ICC), and their impact on legal work and crisis management. He is affiliated with Harvard Law School's Institute for Global Law & Policy and has received prestigious grants including the NWO Veni Grant (2024-2027) and a Starters Grant (2023).
