Richard Cartwright is a Principal Enterprise Fellow and Deputy Head of the Department of Accounting at the University of Southampton's Southampton Business School. He serves as a Non Executive Director and is an active Chartered Accountant with significant contributions to both academic and professional accounting communities.
His educational background includes a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham. He completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at Southampton Solent University where he also obtained Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Cartwright specializes in Audit education and has pioneered the use of ICAEW educational films at universities globally. His research interests focus on sustainability reporting for SMEs, as evidenced by his involvement in the 'SMEs Sustainable Growth' project collaborating with students and staff to produce sustainability reports.
