Riccardo Barrile

Riccardo Barrile is an Assistant Professor and Research Faculty member at the Center for Stem Cell & Organoid Medicine (CuSTOM) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His work focuses on developing advanced microphysiological systems (Organ-on-Chip) to study vascular biology, infectious diseases, and drug toxicity. He holds multiple grants as Principal Investigator (PI), including projects on thrombosis mechanisms, personalized medicine, and neuroinflammation modeling. His research bridges engineering and biology, with applications in precision medicine and drug safety.
