Ricardo AZAMBUJA

Ricardo Azambuja is an Associate Professor at Rennes School of Business (France) since September 2016, specializing in Management and Organization Studies. He also holds positions at American University of Beirut (since Aug/2015) and Grenoble École de Management (Affiliate Professor 2013-2015). His research focuses on managerial work and identity, boundary work in organizations, micro-sociology of workplaces, and the application of narrative/discourse theories to management.

Recent work examines professional unbecoming through memory studies in Japan and the US, while earlier research analyzed permaculture as alternative organizational imaginaries and boundary work in auditing firms.

Recent publications in Journal of Management Studies, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, and Human Relations reveal consistent themes of organizational boundaries, managerial identity, and structural dynamics. He has presented these findings at prestigious conferences including EGOS, EURAM, and Academy of Management.
