Assoc. Prof. Dr. Resul YALÇIN is an Associate Professor at Ankara Social Sciences University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. He has been serving as the Head of the Department since 2022 and previously served as the Institute Director (2018-2021) and Erasmus Coordinator (2018-2022) at the same institution.

Dr. YALÇIN's research primarily focuses on International Politics and Turkish World Studies, with particular expertise in Central Asian politics, Turkish foreign policy, Jerusalem studies, and transboundary water resource management. His work demonstrates a consistent engagement with post-Soviet state development, particularly in Uzbekistan, and the geopolitical dynamics of Turkey's relations with Central Asian and Middle Eastern states.
