Renée Daams is affiliated with Lund University through its Faculty of Medicine and the Lund University Cancer Centre (LUCC). Her research centers on molecular tumor pathology, with a focus on Melanoma, B-cell malignancies, and metastatic carcinomas, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for health and well-being.
- Education:
- Doctoral Thesis (2022): "The role of protein kinases in development and disease", Lund University Faculty of Medicine.
Research Interests include protein kinases, Bcl-3 inhibition, cyclin D1 regulation, and mechanisms driving cancer cell motility and metastasis. She explores therapeutic strategies to enhance cell death in malignancies and investigates how tetraploidization influences tumor invasiveness.
Recent Publications emphasize Pharmacology and Oncology, with key themes in Melanoma treatment, B-cell malignancies, and Cancer Cell Biology. Studies focus on molecular targets like Bcl-3, therapeutic procedures, and metastatic dynamics, reflecting interdisciplinary collaborations.
