Renée B. Adams is a Professor of Finance at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She holds affiliations with the European Corporate Governance Institute (Fellow) and the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (Senior Fellow). Her work intersects economics, finance, management, and psychology, with global policy implications.

Renée's research focuses on corporate governance, bank governance, and gender diversity in leadership. She examines how seemingly inefficient governance mechanisms solve organizational design problems and how gender influences board behavior, financial systems, and pandemic responses.
Her recent publications explore shareholderism, gendered pandemic narratives, and financial inequality. These studies span interdisciplinary methodologies, including psychological surveys, legal analysis, and artistic public engagement.
